"Like a bad neighbor Kathy Scott isn't there! We used to talk to one person and they left. Then we dealt with Carol (which was awesome) and now she isn't there. Any time I try to reach Kathy about my parents policy she "isn't in" or "is in an appointment". When we do request info we can't even get a returned call but then receive email/text responses, with emojis, days later at late night hours from Kathy and Katie. Extremely unprofessional!!!! If you're looking to deal with a rotation of different people and get emoji emails late at night about your cars and home this is the place to go!"

We miss Carol too—she was truly wonderful! As for the timing and style of our replies, we completely hear you. "We had everything from home and multi auto policies with them. I had been a customer for years. Then all of a sudden we could not talk to our agent. They treated us like we were not welcome. Rude, harrassed us. Every month our auto policy payment went up. We don't have any accidents or tickets. And for no reason, they just dropped our homeowners insurance. We were great customers that brought them a little of money and no claims, for many, many years."

I am truly sorry to hear that you felt unwelcome or mistreated during your recent experience—that is never the impression we want to leave, and certainly not how we value our long-term clients. I understand how frustrating it must have been to experience unexpected changes in your policies and communication difficulties. Insurance decisions—especially regarding policy renewals and rates—are sometimes determined by factors outside our direct control, but I take your concerns very seriously and want to make sure you feel heard and respected. "I’ve never spoken to Kathy herself but the staff there are very unhelpful and rude. One of them just actually laughed at me when I asked her for the phone number for glass claims after they hung up on me 3 times when attempting to transfer."

"Service responsiveness and accuracy have not gone in the right direction. Am State Farm Lifer and have been with Kathy Scott for almost 11 years. Switching to office that lives the motto “like a good neighbor”. Today Kathy’s office called me stating coverage was being dropped on a vehicle due to a claim, told me that was the company’s decision. After questioning how this could happen with no interaction give I was a lifetime customer, Kathy’s team member revised their story telling me State Farm simply needed household drivers license info for underwriting. I immediately went to the office in person to get the scoop from Kathy directly and not from the person that called. I asked to speak with Kathy, was given a bottle of water, asked to wait, sat quietly for 45 minutes with no updates on Kathy’s availability before I walked out. I also heard their sales team on an in person interview and several phone sales call. Yikes! When I got home I initiated an agent change. Wish them the best but I think they’ve gotten too large to give personalized service. There was no “like a good neighbor” today at Kathy Scott’s."
